“Girls”
The “Girls” book will seek to be an examination index of women and my relation to them. Some will have been girlfriends (“failed relationships,” by their nature of not currently actively existing), some will be relationships that failed to become intimate, some will be strictly platonic relationships and some may be adversarial in nature.
The overall goal of this book is to use the index format to gain insight into the ways in which I relate to the women in my life. To identify patterns in my relations, perceptions, behaviors and attitudes towards these different women. The implicit secondary goal then is to gain an understanding of – and, through that understanding, to possibly remedy – a pattern of failing relationships.
